Cut
The cutting department was created in order to offer the best service to our customers.
WHS has made available three numerically controlled cutting lines, depending on the required precision it is possible to cut any material to design using three different technologies, oxy-cutting, plasma cutting, water jet cutting, this The latter allows us, thanks to its extreme precision, to manufacture screening panels used in the most varied sectors.
The cutting thicknesses are as follows:
- up to 50 mm for plasma cutting with a tolerance of +/- 3mm
- up to 200 mm for bone cutting with a tolerance of +/- 5 mm
- up to 150 mm for water jet cutting with a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm

An important part of the welding overlays carried out by W.H.S. requires a final mechanical processing, in this regard we have chosen to use the latest generation of machine tools with the aim of guaranteeing the customer a complete service. The commitment in this direction has made us develop over the years a fleet of machines for medium and large-sized processes, helping to make W.H.S. a reference for companies in the sector.
The machine park includes:
TORNITURA
- Numerical control parallel lathe, turning diameter 1000mm for a length of 6 meters
- Parallel lathe turning diameter 1000 mm for a length of 5 meters
- Parallel lathe turning diameter 1200 mm for a length of 3 meters
FRESATURA
- Numerical control boring machine able to work pieces with dimensions 1500mm x 1200mm
- Numerical control milling machines with 12 meters bench
- Horizontal slotting machine for the execution of internal slots up to 600mm in lengtha
We also make use of collaborating companies able to work pieces up to 10 meters in diameter and 24 meters in length.
