Post-weld heat treatment can be used to temper hardenable materials such as high carbon or low alloy steels, reduce the hardness caused by welding, and relieve the stresses of large or heavy sections. Although W.H.S. have large capacity furnace for this application, we also perform induction electric resistance post welding heat treatment services. Each of these processes is applied in case they are more efficient or required.

All heat treatments are held to strict quality requirements with attached thermocouples and calibrated chart recorders for traceability of all components.
